So I haven’t written a blog post in forever and that’s mostly due to the fact that I have just been so busy! My goal for December is to at least get a weekly post up about random things that happened/are happening and anything else you guys would be interested in.
Black Friday/Cyber Monday aka the biggest shopping event of the year is coming up! There are so many sales to navigate through and I always used to get so confused. I also would be sitting there like what do I even need or what gifts do I get people. I am here to help with some of my tips and tricks to make this day easier for us all.
Is it even worth it?
Black Friday is historically the start of holiday shopping. It used to be big deal when people used to line up in front of Best Buy for hours beforehand but now it’s just a way to spend more money. A lot of the sales you’ll see now have been going on and will be going on throughout the holidays. So don’t feel like you have to shop this week!
How to Prepare
One of my biggest ways of getting ready for any shopping I do is make sure I have an account for all the websites I’ll be purchasing from. This is so I can make sure I can just log in and place the order. Then, add everything you want to your wishlist; this will make it super easy just in case something sells out. So, come black friday or even thursday, you can log in and order!
The Sales:
Some sales have already started so I’ll list those here! I also will list some of my guesses for other stores so be sure to check them out!
- Abercrombie: 40-50% off the whole store! If you are an My Abercrombie member you can get 50% off the entire store right now until Friday! If you aren’t, don’t worry, you still can get 40% off! Here are some of my favorite things from their website right now that I will be ordering!
2. Aritzia – 50% that started yesterday if you’re already a customer! My favorite wilfred sweaters are from here and they are basically all I wear over the winter.
3. Ann Taylor: 50% off the whole store. Their sale is until Saturday, 11/30, but I’d start shopping now so my size doesn’t run out. I buy literally all my work pants from Ann Taylor so this is the perfect time to stock up on them! They also have some great options for blouses, I linked a few of my favorites below.
4. Loft: 40% off your purchase. Probably another one of my favorite stores where I get a lotttt of my sweaters from! The best thing they offer is buy online and pick up in store. So if you need something for Thanksgiving, you can run and grab it now.
5. Express – 50% off the store if you are a member! They have some of the best mix of work and casual items. One of my fav pair of joggers is included in the sale and I’m including some other pieces I have gotten and plan on getting!
