I think red and black is a combo that is not only timeless, but also classic when you think of Valentines Day. This look is so cute and chic, and regardless of age, anyone can wear it! This also would be a great look for a Christmas or holiday party.
I got this jumpsuit from Aritzia in the summertime but it should still be available in a slightly similar style! It is the Wilfred Écoulement V Jumpsuit in black: I got this in a 6 but I think an 8 would allow me to be a bit more comfortable. I originally got a light grey jumpsuit that has a tie-back and decided a black one would be perfect for any spills or messes I make. The v-neck and tie-waist make this look so classic and the cropped leg works for both winter and summer looks! Also, I am 5’9 and most of me are my legs, so if you’re shorter this jumpsuit might come lower on you. I wish it came in a full length version cause I would wear this out everywhere.
I paired the jumpsuit with my Valentino Rockstuds, but a strappy black sandal will also look great. I did that combo in the summer with a red bag and lip and it definitely makes a statement! My red coat from Zara adds to this look by a giving a necessary pop of color. I know what my signature style is (in a way I think it’s my signature) so I always need a third color to bring together my color palettes usually.
I didn’t carry a bag with this look, but a black clutch or something from Louis would be perfect! Another great option would be the Chloe nile bag in black. Also, I realize I look pretty boxy, but full disclaimer: it was cold as can be when we shot these!! In between I wore my uggs and huge parka lol. What are you guys doing for Valentine’s Day?
