I feel like it’s been so long since I made a blog post and that’s because it is true, lol. I promise to get my Paris and Barcelona Travel Recaps up by next week but this post couldn’t wait! The thing to focus on right now is the 2019 Sephora VIB Sale!
In case you missed it: Sephora is having their Annual VIB Sale! The sale is from April 26 to May 6th for Rouge members. If you don’t know what that it is, let me recap briefly. When you go to Sephora you can sign up for their rewards program called Beauty Insider – which is free. They have 3 different tiers to this program: Insider, VIB, and Rouge.
VIB & Rouge: I am a Rouge member of this program. That means I basically spent $1,000 at Sephora in a year. How? I’m not really sure. But it also means that within this sale, I get 20% while VIB members get 15% off. VIB members can shop the sale starting May 2 to May 6.
So, with that recap, let me tell you about my 2019 Sephora VIB Sale favorites that I tend to stock up on!
Item 1: SK-II Facial Treatment Essence
SK-II is a toner that I live by. I used it via a sample and it has done wonders for my skin! I have smaller pores when I use this regularly, and my skin is more in a routine if that makes sense? I do break-out when I use this sporadically. Getting this during the sale makes a good difference to the price! Also… ignore my nails. This was the first and last time trying dip.
Item 2: Drunk Elephant Eye Cream
Drunk Elephant’s C-Tango Eye Cream is my go-to. I’ve tried numerous other ones (and I’m currently trying Dr. Brandt’s!) but this is the one for me. It’s light weight but still moisturizes, and I saw results within a week of using this. The whole brand is great and I want to try more of their stuff!
Item 3: Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Products
I only use Anastasia brow products and I think it’s out of habit more than branding. I use both their brow definer and brow wiz products; so during the sale I make sure I get at least 2-3 so I don’t have to come back until the next one! My shade is soft brown and most of the vloggers from back in the day always said to make sure your eyebrows are 3 shades lighter than your roots. It may be outdated, but to each their own!
Item 4: Kiehl’s Facial Serums
I have been using Kiehl’s face serums for over 2 years now. They were the first skincare I really invested in. I love using the Daily Reviving Concentrate to add extra moisture and life into my skin. The same goes for the Restorative one for night! I honestly feel like my skin is so dry/tight when I don’t use these two. Prior to this, I used the Korres Rose Oil Face Serum which is also included within the VIB Sale!
Item 5: Ole Henriksen Skin Care
Though it’s not the last thing I purchased, it is one my go-to’s. I love, love, loveeee Ole Henriksen’s skincare line. I use the products made for oily skin – which are usually green – but I haven’t ventured into his stuff for all skintypes. My skin is very reactive to things I use on it so I try things one at a time and don’t change it if it’s working. I picked up their exfoliating scrub which I use every other day as well as their Find Your Balance oil control cleanser! I have heard good things about their toner, but SK-II is still bae right now.
Outfit
My outfit is a monochromatic masterpiece if I do say so myself. I have my Levi’s 721 ones; this particular wash is stretchy which is great! My tank is new and from Mango, I got in Europe only a week ago so you should be able to get it! My slides are Zara, I got them last year but they’re still available. My jacket is my BlankNYC suede one and I haven’t found how to get rid of that burnt smell yet 🙁 Lastly, I have my Gucci Soho bag on and some earrings from Francesca’s!
I also am placing an order online for another tangle teaser and some other things! If I get anything else that’s noteworthy, I will keep you guys updated on Insta Stories! Let me know of any things you got and recommend!
