As you all may know, the Sephora Sale is coming up! I have a handful of blog posts already up on both my skincare and makeup picks but this year I want to get some new things. Sephora has this sale usually twice a year, once in April and once in September/October. So if you miss out now, you still have the opportunity to get a deal later on! This Sephora Sale my plan is to stock up on some favorites and grab some new things.
Sephora’s Sale is starting on April 9 for Rouge, April 13 for VIB, and April 15 for Insiders. If you go to your Sephora account online, you can see your status and then know when to shop! Here’s a little infographic of those details plus how much each tier saves. I highly recommend signing up for Sephora’s reward program just because a discount is better than no discount. Also, who doesn’t have an account in this day and age?!
Sephora Hair Picks
As you may have seen recently, I went very light with my hair. I’ve been using quite a few products to ensure it stays strong and healthy but there are some things I want to try to make sure they look good! The first is this, Olaplex #6; I’ve heard such good things about using this post-shower so I want to try it out to see how it can help me out. I am also grabbing this dry shampoo from Living Proof. I used to use Batiste but I felt like it didn’t really keep my hair clean between washes. I also am linking the shampoo I use for my hair right now from Kerastase. I am thinking about grabbing their purple shampoo, but I honestly would stick with the OG, Shimmer Lights. I think through the Sephora Sale you can also get a deal on the Dyson Air Wrap or Blowdryer but I’m not 100% sure. It worked in the past but it may not this year!
Skincare
I don’t change my skincare routine often if it at all. Most of my go-to’s are linked here, however, I am looking to add some things to it! First are these eye patches from Milk. My eyes have been dying from my allergies lately so I need something to help with the dryness and itchiness. I also want to add a Vitamin C serum to my routine because I heard it’s really good for hyper-pigmentation and just brightening your skin up. If I don’t use it I know I’ll deff get it for my mom! In terms of moisturizer, I usually go for a gel-based one because my skin is oily, especially during the summer, and my current one is definitely made for the winter. I’ve gotten this one before and this one is back in my cart.
Makeup
Like my skincare routine, I don’t change my makeup routine for any reason. However, I realized my eye shadow palette is like 3-4 years old (gross I know) and it’s time for a new one. I saw this Makeup by Mario one when I was at Sephora a few weeks ago and I’m definitely getting it now! I typically stick with a good nude palette and these colors look beautiful. I think the Sephora Sale is the perfect time to grab things you want to try but also don’t want to pay full price for! I will say I wanted to get the Huda Beauty one originally, but I’ve heard some things about her being a shoddy business owner and that her products contain a lot of fragrance. Her setting powder is bomb tho, Idk what I’d do without it. I’m linking all my go-to products here and you can see how I apply them on my Instagram!
